Volunteer Opportunities
Frederick Douglass Reading
We invite the community to read the words of Frederick Douglass' famous 4th of July speech 'What to the Slave is the 4th of July?' with the North Shore Juneteenth Association. We read this speech each year to help us reflect on how far we have come, and the work that we have left to do. There will also be food, performances, and family fun to enjoy. Gather with us for this important commemorative event.
