Black Excellence 5k Team

Our first Black Excellence 5k was held in 2018! The mission of this run is to highlight positive images of Black Americans. Prominent figures in Black American culture a pictured along the route. Local Black Americans of note can be viewed at the starting line. 

Since 2018  we have experienced growth and the ups and downs of COVID. This race is our biggest fundraiser supporting North Shore Juneteenth Association and our various community efforts. Our yearly back pack drive for Lynn students, The Black Women of the Suffrage Movement exhibit, and our annual Juneteenth Celebration are a few of the events the supporters of our Black Excellence 5k help to fund.
