Now, More Than Ever.
Dear Leading Ladies,
As we all struggle to find meaningful ways to act during these troubling times, this week we would like to ask you all to participate in an action entitled Now More Than Ever that could encourage millions of people to vote in the November election. It will only take a few minutes, but will have a big impact if we all commit to its success.
It entails each of us making a 15-second video on our phones and either posting on FaceBook or Instagram and tagging 15 contacts, or sending our videos with the email below to 15 of our friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances. For those of you who like numbers, 15x15x15x15x15x15=11,390,625!
Whether you use FB, Instagram or email to share your video, please use something like this wording in your video, “Now, more than ever, I will make my vote count this year as a voice for [fill in with one or more issues you care most about - racial equality, access to good education for all, healthcare for everyone, an end to food insecurity and homelessness in the richest country in the world, a solution to climate change]. Please join me and make your vote count too. And if you haven’t registered, go to vote.org.”
If you use FB or Instagram, add to the video message, “Tag 15 friends and ask them to make videos and tag their friends to keep this message going. Thanks! #NowMoreThanEverVote”

Send your video to 15 friends, colleagues, relatives, or acquaintances of different ages and living in different locations with this letter and your name at the bottom instead of mine.
Though I have sent my video to you by email, if you prefer, post your video on your Facebook page and tag 15 people, asking them to make videos and pass the message on to 15 more and so on and on.
