Pew Research: 65% Disapprove of Trump’s Iran Handling
Nearly two out of every three Americans, 65%, now disapprove of how President Trump is handling the military action in Iran. When it began in March, that number was 61%.
Only 34% say the decision to use force was the right call, and most Americans expect the conflict to go on for at least six more months.
This is not partisan noise. Democrats have opposed it from the start, but Republican approval of Trump's handling has dropped from 69% to 63%. When support slips inside a president's own party over a war, that is an alarm bell.
71% of Americans are extremely or very concerned about U.S. troops being wounded or killed. Military families and communities carry that cost long after the headlines move on.
Sending service members into harm’s way is the gravest decision a nation can make. It demands constitutional accountability, transparent debate, and leaders who answer to the public, not to political calculation.
Our communities carry the weight of conflict. Our votes decide who holds the power to wage it.
