kNOw MORE!
A watching, listening, and reading group focused on today’s social issues, kNOw MORE! meets every two months. We choose a movie or play to watch, podcast to listen to, exhibit to view, or book to read, each considering a topic of crucial concern to our society today. Anyone can join any or all of the sessions.
With moderators to guide our discussions, we examine wide-ranging topics of interest and importance. Our hope is to learn more about problems that affect people every day in our country, to encourage creative actions and thoughtful solutions, and to foster empathy.
We recognize that truly appreciating the experiences of others is challenging, but we believe that art—drama, fiction and nonfiction narrative, music, paintings, and photographs—can build understanding in ways that news reporting often cannot.
OUR GOAL
