Progress in nutrition, learning, and skills development has stalled – or reversed – in many low- and middle-income countries, threatening growth and wellbeing. This event launches a new World Bank Group report, Building Human Capital Where it Matters: Homes, Neighborhoods, and Workplaces, which links evidence to policy by focusing on real-world settings where human capital is built.
The event will also introduce the expanded Human Capital Index (HCI+) offering deeper regional and country-specific data and insights into where countries are falling behind in health, education, and the labor market.
Join us for a forward-looking discussion on how governments and partners can translate research into policies, investments, and action to reverse stagnation and accelerate progress in human capital.
